There are nine major systems along with the biochemical and mental/emotional states that control your health and your life. They are in order of priority:

These nine systems when functioning normally along with balanced biochemistry and mental/emotional states promotes total health. Hormonal health is no different from neurological health or digestive health. They are all interconnected and what you do to one you do to them all. So to balance your estrogen and progesterone levels does not lie in just taking potentially safer bio-identical hormones, but in balancing your nervous system (brain, hypothalamus, brainstem), your hormonal system in order of priority: first the pituitary gland which is the master hormone regulator, then your thyroid gland (metabolism, temperature and weight), then your thymus gland (immune function) followed by your pancreas (digestion and blood sugar stabilization), your adrenals (stress reduction) and finally your ovaries which produce estrogen and progesterone.

What you want to get a revelation of is this: the ovaries are last on the totem pole of importance in the hormonal system.  The hormonal system itself is controlled by your brain and nervous system and is heavily influenced by all the other eight systems that control what hormones are secreted and when. Can you see it much more than taking a hormone to feel better, but balancing all your systems and states in order of priority? When you do this first, then if and I will emphasize IF you need to take bio-identical hormones they will be safe and not produce cancer because you will need to take a much, much smaller dose because your body is now in balance needing just a very little help in the hormonal area.

The time you go to sleep and what you eat, how much exercise you get, how much water you drink and how much you live fully in the moment, all are very important to balance your hormone levels. If you do not balance the nine systems and two states first then you will take too high a dosage of bio-identical hormones and although they are made of natural substances, they will still over stimulate your system and increase your risk if getting cancer.  Balance the whole and then the individual parts will also balance naturally as God intended them to.

Foods Could Make Arthritis Worse

The production of antibodies to certain foods is greatly increased in the gut of many patients with rheumatoid arthritis, Norwegian researchers report. It may be that hypersensitivity to certain foods leads to a flare-up in the joints. Dr. Per Brandtzaeg of Rikshospitalet, Oslo and colleagues found that people with rheumatoid arthritis often feel there is an association between food intake and disease severity. He said that “intake of certain food stuffs could intensify the inflammatory joint reaction to produce clinical symptoms.” They studied samples of blood and intestinal fluids from 14 rheumatoid arthritis patients and 20 healthy “controls”. The researchers found that systemic and intestinal immune responses were abnormal in many rheumatoid arthritis patients. The elevated level of food antibodies in gut secretions was “particularly striking,” they report in the medical journal Gut. Specifically, the team identified antibodies to components of milk, eggs, pork and fish. The conclusion, “there may be physical, immunological explanation for such complaints “rather than a mere psychological basis.”

This article showed that with rheumatoid arthritis, which is an auto immune disease, which is an inflammatory disease, they specifically found that milk, eggs, pork and fish caused the rheumatoid arthritis to get worse. Very interesting, because these are all animal products and animal products are inflammatory and they cause inflammation in the body and as this study showed, inflammation in the joints. We can extend this in seeing what the ideal diet is for all human kind. It is a living/raw plant based diet which is the greatest, or most anti inflammatory diet available. It is the diet that all animals eat that don’t get cancer, heart disease, diabetes, lung conditions and most all things that kill people. So, milk is the number one allergen which will cause inflammation. Milk has casein, which is a glue like substance that will affect the sinuses, respiratory tract and digestive tract. But also, it will trigger inflammation throughout the whole body and increase the risk of developing inflammatory diseases, like rheumatoid arthritis in the study. The same with eggs, pork and fish. All because this cooked animal proteins produce antibodies that cause inflammation in the body. A side note is interesting that even fish did this. There is so much spoken of the health benefits of fish, remember, fish is still an animal protein that will cause inflammation, as this study showed and will aggravate rheumatoid arthritis. So the rule of eating food is, or doing any health promoting activity is, do things that have all good and no bad. So, if we are to eat fish, which they say has the Omega 3 essential fatty acids which are necessary for health, the problem is we eat the fish for that, but we’re not taking into account that the animal protein can trigger the antibody reaction, and trigger the inflammation of auto immune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis. And also remember the high mercury content which is in fish. This is why fish is not recommended to be eaten by pregnant women. So do not choose something for your total health that might have a good effect on one side, but multiple negative effects on the other, it is not a proper choice. Whereas, milk, eggs and pork and all other beef and animal products, they don’t have anything for the most part that is beneficial for the health, in the long term because they increase cholesterol, they increase risk of cancer, thus causing a need for alternative cancer treatment, heart disease, diabetes and same thing with eggs and dairy products, increasing the risk of disease because they increase the amount of inflammation in the body. So, this can all be changed, we can change these diseases. Studies have shown that rheumatoid arthritis can be cleared by adopting a living/raw plant based diet.

So in closing, if you want to eat the diet that will not only bring you to the ideal body weight, give you the most energy and vitality, be the most anti inflammatory diet, and be the most disease protective, preventative and corrective, that would be a living/raw plant based diet. The diet that was to be consumed by all people who were placed on this planet as can be seen on the diet that was give to Adam and Eve originally in the garden. Always remember God’s first plan was His recommended plan. All other plans after that were secondary.

Raw Food Eaters Have Higher Levels of Key Nutrients

People who eat plenty of salads, or raw vegetables in general, typically have higher blood levels of several important nutrients, according to a large study of U.S. adults.
Researchers found that even one serving of raw vegetables a day moved people closer to getting the recommended amounts of vitamins A, E, B6 and folic acid. And as salad and raw vegetable intake increased, so did blood levels of vitamins C and E, folic acid and several carotenoids — antioxidants that give yellow, orange and red hues to many vegetables and fruits.

Unfortunately, few Americans regularly eat raw vegetables, according to the researchers, led by Dr. L. Joseph Su of the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.

Of the nearly 18,000 U.S. adults surveyed, only 18 percent to 38 percent said they ate salads. White women younger than 45 had the highest rate; older African Americans had the lowest.

Overall, salad and vegetable consumers had higher blood levels of a range of nutrients — 15 percent higher, on average, than people who did not eat raw vegetables. They were also two to three times more likely to meet the recommended daily intake for vitamin C.

Color is key; dark leafy greens mingled with red and yellow vegetables are best. Stay away from iceberg lettuce and croutons.

The findings should also help allay any concerns about the body’s ability to absorb certain nutrients from raw vegetables, according to the researchers. Water-soluble vitamins, like vitamin C and many B vitamins, are heat-sensitive, and it’s better to get them through raw vegetables, Arab explained.

The interesting thing in this study was that the people that ate raw vegetables and salads had a much higher level of certain vital vitamin and mineral nutrients in their blood. The other thing that was interesting in this study was showing that many people, and even researchers have said, the body might not be able to absorb the nutrients from raw vegetables, but this research showed the reverse, raw vegetables and salads were the highest nutrient containers and absorbed normally into the body and should be eaten on a daily basis.

To further comment on this, it’s obvious that there is no question in diet, there never has been from the creation of mankind. When God created Adam and Eve in the garden, He created the perfect diet, which was in Genesis 1:29-31, which is green plants for food for everything that has breath of life in it. Vitamin D Can Decrease Or Increase Breast Cancer Formation and Insulin Resistance

In mice models of breast cancer, researchers at the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, a part of Georgetown University Medical Center, found that vitamin D significantly reduced development of estrogen receptor-positive (ER+) breast cancer both in lean and obese mice, but had no beneficial effect in estrogen receptor-negative (ER-) cancer. In fact, obese mice destined to develop ER- breast cancer were clearly worse off than lean ER- mice if they were given vitamin D in their diet.

The researchers also found that vitamin D reversed insulin resistance in obese mice, no matter which breast cancer subtype they later developed. In lean mice, however, there was no evidence that vitamin D increased insulin sensitivity. “Use of vitamin D supplementation is clearly tricky. In the many studies that have been done studying the effect of vitamin D in different cancer types, there is no straight link between use and benefit,” says the study’s lead investigator, Leena Hilakivi-Clarke, Ph.D., a professor in the Department of Oncology. For example, in the colon, vitamin D seems to reduce the risk of cancer development, but it may not have any effect on later stage colon cancer.

There is also concern that vitamin D may increase the risk of prostate, esophagus and pancreatic cancer. In work she has conducted in endometrial cancer, Hilakivi-Clarke found that although vitamin D was not beneficial in lean mice, in obese animals it reverses both early and advanced stages of the cancer. “This is not a vitamin that should be taken lightly,” she cautions. “People need sufficient amounts because it has beneficial effects for overall health that have nothing to do with preventing cancer. But for those who want to boost their use of vitamin D, it is important that they have their individual levels tested by a physician, and that they discuss their desire to use supplements.”

Diet Changes Slow Prostate Cancer

When prostate cancer recurs, eating a plant-based diet and reducing stress may help slow progression of the disease, a study shows. Dr. Gordon A. Saxe of the Moores UCSD Cancer Center and colleagues note that hormone treatment may be used to extend survival when prostate cancer returns. However, they add, the treatment reduces sex drive, causes hot flashes and weakens bones. The researchers investigated whether a plant-based diet might be another way to slow the advance of recurrent prostate cancer, because the typical “Western” diet high in animal protein and low in plant foods has been seen to boost the progression of the disease.

Fourteen men with recurrent prostate cancer participated in the study. They were instructed in how to raise their consumption of whole grains, vegetables, fruits, and legumes, and taught how to meditate and do several yoga and tai chi exercises. Just ten of the patients could be evaluated after the 6-month intervention, because two dropped out and two opted for hormone therapy. Compared to the 6 months before the study, the average rate at which the patients’ PSA levels rose slowed down during the dietary modification programs. Four patients actually showed a drop in PSA levels. The rate of PSA rise is the best predictor of survival and cancer spread, according to Saxe. “Our findings suggest that the intervention we employed may have resulted in a slowing of disease progression and, in a few patients, possibly disease reversal,” they write, concluding: “These results provide preliminary evidence that adoption of a plant-based diet, in combination with stress reduction, may attenuate disease progression and have therapeutic potential for clinical management of prostate cancer.”

Very interesting in this study, is that they showed when prostate cancer reoccurs, eating a plant based diet and reducing stress actually helps slow the progression of the disease. In this study, they showed that the standard treatment of hormonal treatment used to extend survival prostate cancer returns, however they found that treatment reduces sex drive, causes hot flashes and weakens the bones. This is because all medications have side effects. If it’s not natural, if it’s not from diet and lifestyle it is going to cause side effects. For every medication put into the body there is a minimum of seven very significant hazardous to your health side effects and some medications have up to 500 side effects. So, what the authors of the research study were seeking is another alternative and they decided to test a plant based versus an animal based diet to see how it affected the disease. So patients were put on a six month intervention. What happened was those that stayed in the study, their PSA levels, which is the sign of prostate specific antigen, which is what they use to measure progression of prostate cancer, it either slowed down the rapid progression in the people eating the plant based diet, or it dropped.

This was not seen in standard people, eating a standard American diet, it just continued to rise at the same expected accelerated rate. So what the author concludes is that the adoption of a plant based diet in a combination of stress reduction may attenuate disease progression and have therapeutic potential for clinical management for prostate cancer. This is just common sense. A diet of living/raw plant based food is the most anti-inflammatory diet available it is also the most disease protective and preventative diet that is available. This diet should be part of an alternative cancer treatment. So a person that would eat this diet, and of course work on, as this study showed, exercises to reduce stress, the two combined are going to reduce stress in the system and decrease inflammation and of course help in the healing of all types of cancer and all types of health challenges.

It is important to understand, animal protein is inflammatory, and inflammation is the root of all disease, including cancer. Refined sugar and flour are also inflammatory. Refined sugar is the most, then animal protein and animal fat the second, the refined flours the third, as far as producing inflammatory reactions in the body. MIT Shows Life Extending Secrets Of Calorie Restriction

Shedding light on why drastically restricting calorie intake prolongs life span in some organisms, MIT researchers report that lowering the level of a common coenzyme activates an anti-aging gene in yeast.

Calorie restriction extends life span in a wide spectrum of organisms, and has been shown to delay the onset or reduce the incidence of many age-related diseases, including cancer and diabetes.

MIT Biology Professor Leonard P. Guarente discovered that calorie restriction activates the silenced information regulator (SIR2) gene, which has the apparent ability to slow aging during the low-calorie diet. This gene makes a protein called Sir2, which is normally activated by the coenzyme molecule NAD. Guarente has shown that SIR2 is integrally tied to extending life span in yeast and in the roundworm. Humans carry a similar gene.

This latest study probes how Sir2 is activated by calorie restriction. The authors report that a coenzyme related to NAD, called NADH (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) inhibits Sir2 by blocking the action of NAD. During calorie restriction, levels of NADH decline in cells. This decrease in NADH allows NAD to better activate Sir2 and thereby extend life span.

What this research showed was that calorie restriction activates a certain gene, the SIR2 gene, which has the ability to slow aging. So this was a very interesting study because they found that when you calorie restrict, when you eat 30-40 percent less calories than normally taken in, this gene SRI2, is activated and this slows aging. Also, what they found was not only did it increase longevity, but it increased energy; the ATP formation, which is the molecule of energy. So this is just another of the many studies that have shown that the less we eat of the right food, which is living raw plant based food, the less calories we take in. But eating the right food, the living raw plant based food, the longer our cells will live; the less inflammation will be in our body.

Also a lower calorie plant based diet is one of the best alternative cancer treatment and alternative diabetes treatment strategies. The more energy we would have. Antibiotics in Animal Products May Cause Drug Resistance in People

According to research people who eat drug-treated poultry may be at increased risk of developing antibiotic resistance.

At issue is the use of virginiamycin, an antibiotic used in farm animals to boost their growth.

The drug is banned in Europe, but farmers are allowed to use it in the United States.

Some studies have suggested that virginiamycin can cause germs in poultry to become super-powered, much as overuse of antibiotics in humans has made some people immune to certain drugs.

This phenomenon, known as drug resistance, happens when an antibiotic is used so often that germs mutate around it.

It’s possible for drug resistance to be spread through food. “When we consume food with organisms that have resistance genes, these genes can be transferred to our natural organisms, causing them to become drug-resistant,” explained Molly Marten, a clinical epidemiologist at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego who’s familiar with the study findings.

Researchers studied to see if people who certain animal products  treated with antibiotics would themselves become resistant to an antibiotic known as quinupristin-dalfopristin, or Synercid.

Synercid treats disease caused by Enterococcus faecium, germs that are normally found in the gut and can cause disease in some cases.
The illnesses caused by these germs are especially common in hospitals among patients whose immune systems are weakened.

The study authors looked for signs of drug resistance by looking at enterococcus bacteria found in stool samples from 105 newly hospitalized patients and 65 healthy vegetarians, all living in the Midwest.

They also looked for signs of drug-resistance in enterococcus bacteria found in 77 samples of ordinary animal products from retail stores and 23 samples of animal products raised without antibiotics.

The researchers said that “plenty” of drug-resistant enterococcus was found in animal products treated with antibiotics.
Furthermore, 38 percent of the hospitalized patients had a genetic trait that might make it easier for them to develop resistance to Synercid; none of the vegetarians had the trait.

Patients who ate the most animal products seemed most susceptible to developing immunity to the drug, as did those who touched the animal products.

“This research makes a strong case for limiting the use of antibiotics in food-producing animals,” added Marten, the epidemiologist. “By using antibiotics for strictly therapeutic purposes (such as treating an infection), rather than as a growth promoter, we will slow the emergence of drug-resistant organisms in human populations.”

The important thing that study showed was that as we put more and more antibiotics in the feed of animals for two purposes, one as the study showed was to boost their growth, the antibiotic actually acting as a growth stimulator. The second one antibiotics because of the way these animals are raised in such disease infested, closed cramped quarters, that they have to be on antibiotics regularly or they would forfeit a majority of their livestock. Interesting that one of the antibiotics used to boost the growth in the animals, virginiamycin, this drug was banned in Europe but farmers are allowed to use it in the United States. Makes you question how the United States sees these risks of medication to the long term health of the United States population. Also what it showed in this study was when people ate this food, that was antibiotic ridden, what they found was 38% of the hospitalized patients had a genetic trait that might make it easier for them to develop the resistance to these medications, but none of them were found in a vegetarian. Which means when a vegetarian, that does not eat animal products, is not eating these antibiotics that weakens the system and tends to lead to antibiotic resistant bacteria and other pathogens in the body.

So, they closed the article saying that the research makes a strong case for the limited use of antibiotics in food producing animals and only using antibiotics for therapeutic purposes such as treating an infection. There is even a problem with this. When they raise these chickens in such cramped quarters where they can hardly move, they are so tightly packed. They will always be diseased. Their bred for weakness, they are just bred to grow fast and to be slaughtered and to be harvested. So it is very important to understand if they use the antibiotics only for infection they will be using it on all of them because they all have disease. This is why animal products will always have antibiotic residue, you will be on antibiotics when you are eating animal products and this includes, meat, chicken, any type of livestock, beef, pork, any livestock at all will be filled with antibiotics. This also includes dairy products, milk, butter, cheese and yogurt. These all will have the same traces of antibiotics which make super strains of antibiotic resistant bacteria and this is what we’re finding this day and age. There are now emerging a type of bacteria that is antibiotic resistant because it has adapted that way because of the overuse and abuse of antibiotics. So the answer is first of all, not to pump the animals up with antibiotics to stimulate their growth and to get rid of infection.

The real answer is found in adopting a plant based diet as more of the world eats a plant based diet there will be less sickness and disease. There will be more health in the world and we won’t have to be dealing with the issues of pumping up animal products with hormones and antibiotics and quote “stimulating” antibiotics and medications, because we simply will not be eating them. High Bread Consumption Tied to Kidney Cancer

A diet high in refined cereals, and bread in particular, is associated with an elevated risk of renal cell carcinoma (RCC), the main type of kidney cancer, according to a study in Italy.

Diet and nutrition are thought to play a role in the development of RCC, but the effect of specific food groups on the risk of this malignancy is controversial, explain Dr. Francesca Bravi and colleagues in the International Journal of Cancer.

Bravi, from Istituto di Ricerche Farmacologiche “Mario Negri” in Milan, and associates elsewhere in Italy, used food frequency questionnaires to compare the diets of 767 patients with RCC in the 2 years prior to diagnosis to those of 1534 ‘controls’ who were admitted to the same hospitals for acute, non-cancer disorders.

Those who ate the highest amounts of bread — 28 portions a week — had nearly two times the risk of kidney cancer as those who ate the lowest number of portions per week, 9, she found. A “portion” was defined as 50 grams or 1.7 ounces, the equivalent of a slice or a slice and a half of bread.

Comparing the highest with the lowest intakes, consumption of bread increased the risk of RCC by 94 percent, pasta and rice by 29 percent, and milk and yogurt by 27 percent. Conversely, high intake of vegetables appeared to reduce the risk by 35 percent respectively.

Bravi speculated that the elevation in risk linked to high bread, pasta and rice consumption could be due to the blood-sugar raising effects of these foods. Eating large quantities of those foods, she said, may affect the process of getting cancer by influencing the level of substances called insulin-like growth factors, which have been implicated in cancer.

Even though more study is needed, Bravi said, “Our study suggests that a diet poor in refined cereals and rich in vegetables may have a favorable role on the risk of renal cell carcinoma.”

What glycemic index means is how much, and how quickly the food turns into sugar in the body. The problem is cancer eats sugar, and it eats it faster than any another cell in your body.

So if you’re eating anything that turns into sugar, the cancer cells are going to take it first and it’s going to promote further growth of cancer of any type. It does not have to be just renal cell; it’s any type of cancer. So, the more we decrease our sugar intake, the more we eat a diet of living/raw plant foods, the less sugar to grow this cancer, and also the less inflammation to cause the formation and growth of the cancer. The highest inflammatory products in the diet are refined sugars, starches and animal products that are highly acidic and highly inflammatory. The lowest inflammation foods are living/raw plant foods that are uncooked, plant in origin. So how are we going to become cancer protective?
